Education, marginalisation and value
The research group studies pedagogical issues related to upbringing, education and training – both theoretically and practically. EMV has several research clusters divided into three main tracks: educational studies, educational leadership and special education.
A. Education & Existence Explores fundamental questions about human development, vulnerability and existential experiences.
B. Educational Leadership Investigates democratic and value-based leadership in the education sector, with an emphasis on responsibility, trust, understanding of power and inclusive practices.
C. Special Education and Inclusion Focuses on conditions for adapted education and participation, as well as how schools and kindergartens can meet children's different needs with professional, research-based support.
