Erasmus+
Erasmus+ is the EU's education program that provides financial support for studies and internships abroad. The aim of Erasmus+ is to give individuals the opportunity to live in another country, learn a language, become familiar with another culture, and gain international experience through exchange. NLA has Erasmus+ agreements with a number of European countries.
NLA University College has been awarded the Erasmus+ Charter of Higher Education 2021-2027.
The Erasmus Student Charter highlights the rights and responsibilities of students participating in Erasmus+. You can find NLA’s Erasmus policy statement here.
If you go on exchange through the Erasmus+ program, you don't pay any tuition fees. You also receive an additional grant. The grant amount depends on where you are going:
Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, France, Germany, Netherlands: 530 EUR per month.
Other countries: 470 EUR per month.
Starting in the fall of 2024, an Erasmus travel grant will also be introduced. The amount of the travel grant depends on the distance between your study location in Norway and the host institution abroad. If you choose to travel in an environmentally friendly way (green travels), you can also receive an additional grant for green travel.
The semester exchange requires that NLA has an official Erasmus+ agreement with the host institution.
Through the Erasmus+ program, it is possible to receive grant for internships abroad.
