Guidelines for sound recordings of teaching at NLA University College

Sometimes students ask for permission to make sound recordings of lectures.
In general, lectures are open to the public and as long as the recordings are for private use only, such requests are granted.

In order to prevent the misuse of such sound recordings, it is important to be aware of the guidelines for such recordings:

• Sound recordings are only for private use
• No recording is to be made of teaching in seminar forms where the fact that a recording is being made may make students careful about what they say
• No recording is to be made during teaching where personal or confidential information may be stated.
