Marking World Mental Health Day

In October, we invite both students and staff to various gatherings to mark the national celebration of World Mental Health Day.

verdensdagen for psykisk helse

Throughout the month, there will be events focusing on community, conversation, and reflection on mental health. You can meet the student chaplain and the conversation service at their stand – they offer coffee, pastries, and good conversations. Kirkens SOS will also be present with information and opportunities for a chat.

One of the highlights is the lecture by specialist psychologist Heidi Djup, who shares insights and experiences related to this year's theme - strengthening our mental preparedness. In addition, chapel gatherings and smaller, local initiatives are being organized to put mental health on the agenda in various parts of NLA's campuses.

Here you can hear Heidi Djup and see a film from World Mental Health Day.
