Rekordsøkning til NLA – og litt lysning for lærerutdanningene

NLA Høgskolen hadde rekordvekst i totalt søkertall i 2024, og følger opp med enda litt vekst i 2025. Søkningen til NLAs lærerutdanninger har også tatt seg noe opp og bidrar til dette totalresultatet.

– Vi er svært glade for at flere ønsker å bli lærere. Vi har et stort behov for gode lærere i årene som kommer, og det er inspirerende å se at interessen for lærerrollen igjen har økt, sier Sigbjørn Sødal, rektor ved NLA Høgskolen.

Det aller meste av økningen i årets søkertall skyldes oppstarten av vårt nye studiested i Stavanger, påpeker Amund Langøy, prorektor for utdanning ved NLA.

Nettstudier er fortsatt attraktivt for mange, forteller prorektor for utdanning, Amund Langøy.

– Også våre økonomistudier holder seg stabile, og tiltrekker seg en solid gruppe søkere. Dette viser at utdanning innen økonomi og ledelse fortsatt er både relevant og attraktiv, sier Langøy. Fra høsten av åpner NLA et nytt studiesenter i Stavanger og vil tilby to bachelorprogram som retter seg mot økonomi, innovasjon og ledelse.

– Selv om veksten totalt sett er moderat for høyskolen, så tolker vi søkertallene som et tegn på at vi står stødig som utdanningsinstitusjon – og at våre satsinger på faglig kvalitet og regional tilstedeværelse gir resultater, kommenterer Sødal.
